Sunday Post, #22: Stress, Anxiety, and a Heartbreaking Week
Happy Sunday Everyone! This is the Sunday Post hosted by the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This was a very difficult week for me. I'm truly excited about this journey that I'm taking into motherhood; however, I'm a single mom so I go to a lot of my doctor's appointments alone and sit in rooms with happy couples; I don't get to share in the joy of the baby kicks with anyone; and I live alone so I don't have someone helping me out around the house when movements become difficult and painful. My closest family members are almost two hours away so that makes it more difficult. As a result, I've slipped into a small spout of depression. I feel lonely a lot and I haven't been able to focus or get anything done around the house. As a result, I didn't get much reading done. I'm hoping that this week is better and that I'm able to get back to feeling a little normal. I'm excited for my baby girl, but I'm also scared of having to do this by myself. Anyway, here's what I read and posted on the blog this week.
- May Wrap-Up/June TBR
- Top 10 Tuesday: Books From My Favorite Genre
- Waiting on Wednesday, #52: The Magnolia Sword
- Friday #56: The Titan's Curse
- Romanov by Nadine Brandes (Review)
Here Comes the Sun (4 Stars), Bitter Root Vol. 1 (4 Stars)
I'm hoping that this is a better week than last week and I'm able to read a heck of a lot more. I'm still feeling down as I'm writing this post so we'll see how it goes.
