Summer TBR Wipeout: Introduction

Happy Thursday everyone! As I was scrolling through my blog list and catching up on post from other bloggers, I saw that there was a summer readathon that was taking place that encourages people regardless of their platform to knock some books off of their TBR during the summer. This is being hosted by the Candid Cover. You can click on the picture to get more information. Usually I'm not really organized when it comes to following a TBR; however, I thought this would actually be a great way for me to get involved so keep reading below to check out my TBR!

I've decided to actually split my TBR into categories and goals. I'll be giving myself more choices than what I'll actually be reading. This helps me a lot since I'm a mood reader.

ARCS

Okay so I think I may have gone a little crazy with the whole getting ARCs or getting approved for ARCs this year plus I just had a co-worker that went to ALA and she got me a few things (bless her lol); however, I really need to focus on knocking some of them out. I'm hoping to read at least four this summer from this list below:

SERIES

I really haven't been good about finishing series; however, there are quite a few where I literally have only one book to read and then I'm finished with the series. I'm hoping to finish at least 3 series, read the sequels for 2, and binge 1.

  • Series to Finish (Choosing 3)

  1. Gemma Doyle Trilogy
  2. The Girl From Everywhere Duology
  3. Dorothy Must Die Series
  4. The Girl of Fire & Thorns Trilogy
  5. Masterminds Trilogy
  6. Reckoners Trilogy
  7. Wrath & The Dawn Duology

  • Series to Continue (Choosing 2)

  1. ACOTAR Trilogy
  2. An Ember in the Ashes Series
  3. Whatever After Series
  4. Hannah Swensen Series
  5. Mistborn Series
  6. Neopolitan Series
  7. Nana Manga Series
  8. Charlotte Holmes Trilogy
  • Binge Series (Choosing 1)

SC Book Award Nominees:

My last goal is to read at least 5 comic books/5 manga which will be a breeze for me.

  3. Ah these all look so good! I've literally just about to binge read the Reckoners trilogy by Brandon Sanderson which I'm SO exited about as I love superhero books. I'm also hoping to read This Savage Song for the challenge!

An Ember in the Ashes is amazing! :)

Best of luck and happy reading!
