Happy Reading!!
So this week I'm trying to work on finishing Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. I'm enjoying it; however, work and so many other things have been extremely stressful so I literally have been going to work and coming home and watching a tv show or two and then going straight to sleep. So in more ways than one I haven't been reading this book the way I should be reading it. Hopefully that will change and now I can get it done before I see the movie.
Olly: go then
Olly: you still there?
Madeline: Yes.
Olly: come to the window
Madeline: Now? I'm wearing my nightgown.
Olly: put on a robe. come to the window so that I can see
My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

I really want to read this one!! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI picked this one up on a whim last year, on audio, just for something light to listen to on my commute. I was so pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it even more than I thought I would.Loved Maddy and loved Olly. :)
