Top 10 Tuesday: 10 Books I Wish Had More Action/Plot Development

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is Tuesday so that definitely means another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by the ladies over at the Broke and the Bookish. This weeks theme was to pick a book with a little too much/little of something. So I decided to pick books that I wish had more action and/or plot development.

Hush, Hush was one of those books that I enjoyed as a young adult, but looking back on it now all I can think about is the fact that it had so much teenage angst. Beautiful Disaster was a disaster of an experience for me. The romance was something I didn't approve of and I just wish it had more action and plot development. The Daughter of Time was an okay book, but the entire book takes place in one area--a hospital bed.

Flyy Girl was my second attempt at reading urban fiction and while I thought it was an okay book there was too much drama and not enough action. Daimon was simply the first book of the Covenant series. I was disappointed. Listen, Slowly had a great premise, but it was so slow. To take place with the concept of character missing there definitely wasn't a lot of action.

Ms. Marvel Vol. 2 was hard for me to put on this list for the simple fact that I have grown to love this series; however, in the beginning I thought it was slow and lacked the proper plot development to be a good series. An Abundance of Katherines was a typical John Green novel that lacked the action to pull me in. Never Never is a perfect example of a story that could have gone well, but definitely didn't

I have absolutely nothing to say about this one except that I thought it was incredibly dry and boring.

  2. I've seen Hush Hush around, but haven't looked into it too closely. That cover sure is eerie though! Great topic for this week.

...and as always, thanks for visiting Finding Wonderland.
