Netflix and Books Tag
As you guys probably already know I'm participating in the Netflix and Books Challenge (click here) hosted by Novel Ink and Bookmark It. As a way to earn points affiliated with the challenge they have allowed all participants to complete this tag for a total of twenty points! I was really excited when I read over the tag and saw some of the prompts. I haven't seen all of these TV shows, but I'm just going to go with it! : ) Here's the original tag if you want to see it! I didn't use all of the categories because I didn't necessarily have books for all of them.
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia | Unlikable Character(s)
Although I've never watched this show I can attest to a character that is unlikable and for me that is Lila from Elena Ferrante's My Brilliant Friend. I'm really enjoying the book, but she definitely doesn't have any redeeming qualities.
Vampire Diaries | Your Ship Sank or Didn't Work
Yea my ship definitely did not happen with the Hunger Games. I was spoiled for the ending and didn't even make it past book one. Then I gave up on the films.
Friends | Best Cast of Characters or Friendships
The characters from the Heroes of Olympus are the best in the entire world and I love the friendship they build over the course of the five books. It's amazing! : )
Gossip Girl | Hate That You Love/Guilty Pressure
The L.A. Candy series was definitely my guilty pleasure for the year. Oh my goodness. This definitely was not good writing, but the drama just pulled me in and I read all three books in a month.
Brothers & Sisters | All the Feels
Oh my goodness. If you haven't read this book you definitely should. It will have you in your feelings.
How I Met Your Mother | Bad Ending
I hated the end of this book! It was one of the worst books I read in 2016. I can't even go into words explaining how much this book upset me.
Supernatural | Favorite Paranormal/Fantasy
Morgan Rhodes essentially become my hero in 2015. I was so happy I discovered this fantasy series. It's full of plot twists and turns you don't expect and the writing is phenomenal. If you're looking for a easier version or a YA version Game of Thrones then this is the series to check out.
Freaks & Geeks | Left You Wanting More
Okay this is a special case because I got more of the story, but I just wanted more from the perspective of these particular characters.
Girl Meets World | Should Have a Spin-Off
Okay so I absolutely loved More Happy Than Not and I was definitely sad when it was over so I wish that Adam would have given us a sequel.
That 70's Show | Set In A Different Time Period
I love historical fiction. I feel like outside of fantasy it is my favorite genre so I'll usually pick up anything outside my current time period.
Orange is the New Black | Couldn't Stop Reading
Let's just say that this book was over 500 pages and I devoured it in two days. It was just that good.
Parks & Recreation | Made You Laugh Out Loud
Okay so Will Grayson, Will Grayson wasn't the best writing, but I do know that when I listened to it on audiobook in the car it made me laugh out loud and I just knew I looked crazy to other drivers.
Modern Family | Best Family or Parents
Lara Jean's family is just the best family. I love the relationship she has with her sister and her father. Great contemporary series if you haven't read it yet.
Alright guys that's it! If you're interested in doing the tag then I tag you! haha. Just be sure to link back to the original creators.
