A clear spin-off from the Addicted Series, Kiss the Sky is the first book in the Calloway Sisters series. It gives a fresh and new perspective to the lively story of Lily and Lo. 

**Please keep in mind that although this is the first book in the spin off series this review may contain some spoilers. 

Unlike the other books in the Addicted series, Kiss the Sky is written in Connor and Rose's point of view. Rose is the sister of Lily Calloway who recently started dating Connor who is not only her fiercest competition, but also Lily's ex-tutor. Reading in the voice of these two characters was not only rewarding, but also gave new insight to the issues plaguing Lily and Lo. 

One of the most interesting aspects of this novel was the plot premise. Unlike Lily and Lo, Connor and Rose do not have any addictions; however, due to (spoiler ahead) the release of Lily's sex addiction Rose's couture company falls apart. To assist her company Rose decides to enroll her sisters and friends into a reality t.v. show. This had to be the most interesting twist in this entire series. I absolutely loved seeing the different personalities the show forced the characters to have. Connor becomes a projected "jerk" as he battles with the shows producer Scott, Daisy becomes an iconic sex symbol, Lo and Lily are the addicts the nation is waiting to see crack, Rose is a power woman on the rise, and Ryke, well Ryke is just Ryke. I was amazed at how this show had potential to tear these characters apart, yet somehow it made them stronger and more like a family. This just made the book that much better. I appreciate the sense of loyalty the characters had to each other. 

The other beautiful aspect of this novel was the character development of Rose and Conner as individuals as well as in their relationship with each other. Both characters are head strong, independent, and confident. In order to make it through the more difficult elements of the book they must learn to depend on each other. And boy does their relationship blossom. It becomes one of the most beautiful relationships I have ever seen in NA books/literature. Rose learns that she doesn't have to always be dominant and Connor learns to willingly let his heart love. With these growing attributes the ending turned out to be the most beautiful aspect of the entire book. It made me gush and wish for more books about these two characters. 

If you are looking for a wonderful NA series that specializes in not only romance, but also character development I would definitely recommend picking this up and starting with the Addicted series. According to the Ritchie sisters, you can start with Kiss the Sky; however, starting with Addicted to You will ultimately give a more in-depth experience.
